The rules of the road when you use JobPricer. Short, fair, and contractor-friendly.
By signing up for an account or using JobPricer (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
JobPricer offers a Free plan and paid plans:
Paid plans bill monthly via Stripe. Adding or removing seats is prorated automatically by Stripe for the current billing period. Prices are listed on our Pricing page. We may change prices with at least 30 days notice for existing customers.
JobPricer operates as a Stripe Connect platform. When you accept card payments from your customers through the app, you connect your own Stripe account and money flows directly to your bank via Stripe. On Pro and Business plans the platform fee is 0% — you keep 100% of every client payment and pay only Stripe's processing rates (2.9% + 30¢ cards; 0.8% ACH capped at $5). Free-tier accounts pay a 2% platform fee, which drops to 0% on upgrade. If you enable card-fee passthrough, the surcharge is disclosed to your customer at checkout in accordance with card-network and state rules.
You are the merchant of record for your customer transactions and are responsible for delivering the goods or services you sell. Stripe's terms apply in addition to these Terms for payment processing.
The Service includes AI-powered quote drafting, receipt extraction, and transcription (via OpenAI). AI outputs are estimates and suggestions — you are responsible for reviewing and approving every AI-drafted quote, extracted receipt value, or transcript before it reaches a customer or your books. We make no warranty that AI output is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular job. AI tokens have monthly allowances on paid plans; token packs ($5 / $20) are available for purchase and never expire.
JobPricer may show suggested tax set-aside figures based on your reported income and a tax rate you set. These are estimates for planning purposes only, not tax advice. Your real tax liability depends on your deductions, entity type, state, and other factors — please work with a licensed accountant.
If you use JobPricer to send SMS messages to your customers (via our SMS provider), you are responsible for obtaining and documenting consent from your recipients as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM, and applicable state laws. JobPricer provides consent-capture on lead forms and honors STOP / opt-out requests, but you are the sender of record.
You grant JobPricer LLC the right to use anonymized, aggregated pricing and job data (never tied back to you or your customers) to improve the product — including building future market-pricing features that help contractors benchmark against local averages. You can request exclusion of your account from aggregate features by emailing us.
You can cancel any paid plan at any time from Settings. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access to paid features through that period. We do not offer refunds for partial months — but you can always drop back to the Free plan at the end of any paid period and keep all your data. If something has clearly gone wrong on our end (extended outage, charged-but-no-service), email hello@jobpricer.app and we will make it right.
You own your business data (quotes, invoices, clients, photos, etc.). You grant JobPricer LLC a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to operate the Service for you. You can export your data (CSV or JSON) at any time from Settings. On account closure, you can request full deletion of your data — see our Privacy Policy for the process.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice except in cases of clear abuse. You can close your account at any time from Settings.
The JobPricer software, brand, and content (excluding your business data and AI outputs) are owned by JobPricer LLC. AI outputs generated for your account belong to you, subject to the AI provider underlying terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobPricer LLC aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold JobPricer LLC harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your business data, your customer communications, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, United States. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois, or as otherwise agreed by the parties.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app banner at least 30 days before they take effect.
