Charge a saved card from an invoice

If the customer saved a card during booking, you don't have to chase them for payment when the job's done — you can charge it from the invoice directly.

How to do it

  1. Open the invoice for the completed job.
  2. If a card is on file, you'll see a Charge saved card · $X button.
  3. Tap it. The payment runs through Stripe and the invoice is marked paid.

That's it — no follow-up emails, no waiting on a check.

FAQ

What if there's no card on file?
You'll see the normal send/pay-link options. The customer can pay online from their phone.
Will the customer get a receipt?
Yes — Stripe emails them a receipt automatically when the charge runs.
What if the charge fails?
Stripe explains why (expired card, declined, etc.). Send them a pay link as a backup so they can use a different card.
