Saving a card at booking gives you a frictionless way to collect payment later — they enter the card once, and you charge it when the work's complete.
How it works
- Add a Card on file field to a booking form.
- The customer enters their card when they book — it's saved through Stripe (not stored by JobPricer).
- When the job is done, you open the invoice and tap Charge saved card — payment runs without bothering the customer again.
Requirements
- You need Stripe Connect set up first — see get paid online with Stripe.
- Card-on-file is a booking-form field, so it only appears on booking-type forms.
FAQ
Where is the card stored?
Stripe holds the card securely — JobPricer never sees the full card number.
What if the saved card fails when I charge?
Stripe will tell you why (expired, insufficient funds, etc.). You can send a pay link as a backup so the customer can pay with a different card.
Can the customer remove their card?
Yes — they can contact you to remove it, or contact Stripe directly.
Still need a hand?
